☯ Empty disk after cloning If HDClone crashes/terminates itself at the end of the cloning process, vital partition data is not written and the disk appears empty.
Since the program just closed without further notification, there was no chance for users to see that their clone/image had been created correctly and without any errors, although the error only occurred after completion of the cloning/imaging process. ⛐ Program crash after clone/image In some cases, the entire program crashed after creating a disk clone or a disk image had been finished. ⇗ Accessing FAT file systems created with macOS In FAT file systems, created by macOS, folders and files with the same name as the volume label could not be accessed. ⛐ Restore crash on target disk selection When selecting the target disk for an ImageRestore operation, in certain cases the App could crash. ☯ Touchscreen/Touchpad support improved Now there are more built-in touch screens and touch pads supported.
☯ Surface Tablet switches off automatically Microsoft Surface Go tablets turned themselves off about 15 s after starting. ↶ Bootenv file skipped by boot loader The boot loader skipped the r file containing user defined settings for the boot process. ☯ Compatibility with older NTFS With NTFS file systems, created with older versions of Windows (NT4 and earlier), in some cases compressed files could not be read. After adding several workarounds for these issues, these controllers are fully usable now. ⇗ USB 3 compatibility (TI Controllers) Certain Texas Instruments USB 3 controllers were not usable due to their non standard compliant behavior. ⇗ Multi-M2 Support with Intel-RST When using more than one M.2 disk in a system with "NVMe Remapping" or "Intel Rapid Storage Technology" (Intel-RST) enabled, now all of the M.2 disks can be detected, not only one as before. ↶ Newer M.2 disks not visible In some cases, newer M.2 disks were not displayed. It is therefore possible that the latest versions are not yet available for download. Note: The results listed below may also cover future changes, that have not been publicly released yet.
